A whole bunch of tigress action here. The Thylacine footage comes from Beaumaris Zoo in Hobart (long since closed), the reputed last survivor before extinction. The circus footage shows just how cuddly and friendly big cats are, yeah right, I went to a circus as a child and there was blood all over the lion tamer. The tigress dancer is pretty amazing and the apekids on the bikes are just wierd. There’s something wrong about every element here. But that’s true of this whole collection of 7 mashup films, ripped from the Prelinger Archives.
Music created at Coburg Metropolis Studio by myself and Paul Irving. First we improvised bass guitar (me) and electronics (Paul), then I added an excerpt from Diamanda Galas fabulous Litanies Of Satan. Paul and I created a suite of 11 pieces as a Black Ambient/Autonomous Systems collaboration.
