Wardale 005.

Solo electronic composition with field recording.

Second part of the Queensland trilogy.

Falling into a rhythm of commuting to a job every day, and pursuing relaxation or entertainment on the weekends is a popular lifestyle choice. Some folks find it comfortable following this pattern while others constantly question its wisdom.

In this piece three very different leisure choices from three very different aspects of the community. The Ekka is Queenslands agricultural show, Earthcore is an electronic music festival held in a bush setting, and the rodeo is an outback tradition. All three have a strong link between urban and rural culture.
